There are two natural forms of Vitamin K: K1 and K2. Vitamin K1 is found in green leafy vegetables such as broccoli, spinach, lettuce and kale, and makes up the majority of the Vitamin K in a typical Western diet. Vitamin K2 is harder to obtain through diet because it is only found in small amounts from animal sources, like dairy and cheese, as well as natto, a type of fermented soybean.
